Charging mode 1: charging mode 1 is a combination of single head charging gun + Cable + ordinary CEE plug connected to single-phase mains power


Charging mode 2: the combination mode is single head charging gun + Cable + control box + plug connected to single-phase mains power


Charging mode 3: the combination mode is double head charging gun + Cable + charging pile connected to single-phase power or three-phase power


Charging mode 4, the combination mode is charging gun + Cable + charging pile connected to DC


Their differences are: the difference between charging mode 2 and charging mode 1 is to increase the controller. Compared with charging mode 1, charging mode 2 has complete protection measures, including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and leakage power-off protection, while charging mode 1 has no protection measures. Compared with charging mode 1 and charging mode 2, charging mode 3 increases the charging current, improves the charging speed, and has a higher demand for charging safety. Charging cable selection corresponding to charging mode


Charging mode 1:


In charging mode 1, because ordinary CEE plug is used to connect single-phase mains power, common 10a and 16A currents are used, and the corresponding cables are OMG 3 * 1.5 square cable and omega 3 * 2.5 square cable.




Charging mode 2:


Ordinary CEE plug is used to connect single-phase mains power. OMG 3 * 2.5 + 2 * 0.75 cable is used for rated current of 10A / 16a and omg3 * 4 + 2 * 0.75 cable is used for rated current of 16A / 32A. For safety consideration, 3 * 6 + 2 * 0.75 cable is recommended for 32A current.




For the selection of charging mode 3 cable, we mentioned above that the selection principle of charging cable is to determine the charging mode used and the output current of charging mode to select the corresponding cable. The common output currents of charging mode 3 include 16a, 32a, three-phase 32a, three-phase 63A and three-phase 125A, that is, the corresponding charging cables can be OMG 3 * 4.0 + 2 * 0.75 cable, OMG 3 * 6.0 + 2 * 0.75 cable, OMG 5 * 6.0 + 2 * 0.75 cable, OMG 5 * 16 + 2 * 0.75 cable and omg 5 * 35 + 2 * 0.75 cable.




Type selection of charging mode 4 cable. Charging mode 4 is DC charging, which has obvious advantages such as high charging current and fast charging speed, so it has higher requirements for safety and thicker cable diameter. The cable includes main power line, ground wire, auxiliary power line and control line, and has more requirements for cable. When selecting cable, pay attention to product flexibility and bending radius; High and low temperature resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, water resistance, wear resistance, cracking resistance and UV resistance; Flame retardant performance; Conductivity, conductor temperature rise; Whether the materials comply with the latest RoHS & reach environmental protection standards will be more guaranteed if the products with product quality recognition are selected.
